Manufacturer proposes $7M aviation facility at Miami University Airport

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - An aerospace manufacturer is planning a $7 million facility at the Miami University Airport.

Volynt Aero Inc. – an Oxford-based developer and manufacturer of unmanned, hybrid eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft – has proposed the establishment of the Hybrid Propulsion and Energy (HyPE) Lab at the Miami University Airport (OXD) in Oxford. The state-of-the-art facility would play a pivotal role in the development and advancement of hybrid-electric, hydrogen fuel cell and electric aviation technologies.
